EM for Physicians #11- Foreign Body Ingestions

It's just a fact of life that young children try to put about everything in their mouth. Typically, this amounts to nothing more than potentially being gross. However, thousands of children will end up ingesting/aspirating the object into their respiratory or GI tract. Most are harmless, but a select few could be deadly. In this episode, we talk about foreign body ingestions, how to evaluate them, and which ones need a little faster action and higher concern.
